The lobby was decorated for Christmas and had a comfortable homey feel. I was greeted by a smiling young lady that was easy to chart with. I found out that she is the granddaughter of the owner and it is a family owned business. Check in was a breeze because she was organized and expecting our arrival. When we got to our king size room, we were impressed with its cleanliness. I have stayed in much more expensive rooms that were no where near as clean. There was no dirt around the baseboards and not a speck in the bathroom. Everything was well maintained with even a few touches of home. The furniture was nice. We had more than we needed and very comfortable. The bed was spotless and no sleep wrinkles from anyone else. We slept good in a nice quiet dark room. I would be sinning if I complained. I couldn’t find anything to complain about. The grounds were very nice and trimmed and the pool and hot tub were very inviting. We were meeting family for breakfast, so all we had was coffee. It was really good. We were greeted by the head of the breakfast room and a sweet lady, now a friend at the entrance to the room. We had to pull ourselves away because of our appointment, but we could have chatted all day. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, biscuits & gravy and homemade waffles were served.

It is family owned and such a genuine friendliness. The grandson was cleaning the front windows when we arrived. We had started hearing a strange knocking in our car wheel just before we arrived. They went to great measures to find a shop for us that could put it up on a rack and check it out at 3 in the afternoon. Solved. When we had breakfast an older gentleman was in there and offered to make waffles for one couple who was in there. He came to our table and took our plates away as soon as we finished. The grounds were so well kept and attractive, a lovely deck with beautiful lights in the trees. We had a very comfortable recliner in our room, 108, pool view. Several good choices of restaurants and fast foods within walking distance. We had a nice dinner at Denny's and got a 10% discount as a guest of the hotel. We sat around the pool and relaxed after we ate. A little too chilly to swim in early April. One couple was in the hot tub. The hotel is near Interstate 45, but we had no highway noise in our room at all. It was a little noisy while sitting at the pool. Very reasonable. $111 on a Monday night. High recommend.

this motel is in a great location and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are large and well appointed and maintained. Very comfortable beds and pillows, credit to housekeeping staff as immaculately clean in all areas of the property. The included breakfast is fresh and extensive, fresh fruit and lots of options. We are return customers as we remember the warm welcome we received previously. The best part of all is the incredible staff who work here, Front Desk Deanna, Joanna and Suzanne, and Gary who was taking care of the breakfast, well done it’s great to stay and meet such a welcoming and passionate group of people. I am from Australia and have travelled all over the US and these experiences make our trips so memorable.

Breakfast had standard options for the hotel class, but the breakfast worker (not sure the job title) was not only great at keeping everything stocked, but also consistently offered to make waffles for people and bring it to their table. His personality was exceptionally cheerful and wholesome, and made me want to be a kinder person myself. Wonderful man! The grounds were also gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. Everything was well maintained and manicured. The hotel has a cat that laid around lazily and couldn't decide if it wanted to be inside or outside, but did enjoy pets!

This was a lovely stay. Our room faced the pool and green space. It was peaceful and clean The staff was so sweet! The front desk staff came out to welcome us at the front entry. I have never seen that at a Quality Inn. Breakfast was warm and again, the staff was hospitable. We normally stay within Dallas city limits to attend the State Fair but we will make this place part of our yearly routine! Thank you!
